and that means from the time the pitcher gets the ball back from the catcher/umpire to his next delivery, including throwing to bases!! that will cut 45 minutes off these frickin games..

This has been going on for a long time.

Remember Hideki Irabu for NYY? OMG, and if there was a runner on first it was physically painful to watch.

I swore I would never go to Yankee stadium again after that, and I haven't. And this was back in like 2000.
