Manhattan -14.5 over Rider
Jaspers beat Rider by 10 last week in NJ.Game was 38-31 at half,Jaspers.Tied at 43-43 then Manhattan went on a tear.
Jaspers are firing on all cylinders.Won 8 in a row.Best offensive team and defensive team in the MAAC.
Rider has lost 4 in a row. Can't score.
In MAAC stats manhattan is 1st in all these catogories a Rider is in dead last or 9th out of 10.Scoring margin,FG%,FG defense,3pt %,rebounding, rebounding margin, and any other margin including "land o lakes.Only in FT's is it close. They are 1 and 2 shooting 81%.
Rider has Johnson who scored 30 vs them last week.Taylor and Young are avg. double digits.Reed the 6'10 kid is No1 in rebounding in the conf. But no one else rebounds.Imagine having the No1 rebounder and your team is in dead last place.
Gonzalez has his kids playing aggressive defense, fast breaking, etc
And he has the MAAC Pl of the day, week and year in Flores.Mr.Everything.Shoots passes, penetrates, steals and is hitting 90% from the FT.
Holmes,Benton,Johnson and Kono.. can all score.Incredible FG% from these guys.
Playing at home the jaspers should win this by 17-20 pts.

Ok St -4.5 over Baylor
Playing in Waco might scare you but then someone better tell Victor Williams and co_OSU has beaten the bears the past 4 yrs in Waco by 13,10,15,and 16.OSU has enough offensive talent to handle a weak Baylor defense. They have yet to see an offense as good as OSU except for Texas.BU plays nobody. Before there B-12 schedule last week they played Texas-Pan Am,North texas,SMOO,Montana,SW Texas, etc. There 1st two real games and they lost to Mizzou and Texas.
It's B-12 time.Cowboys roll again in Waco

Small plays
Davidson -7.5 over VMI
Notre dame -2 over Prov..just to much offense and Thomas
George washington +11 over Richmond
Ohio St +9.5 over Indy

Rider could be tired here. They lost in overtime on the road on Sunday and the top 2 scorers Johnson and Taylor both logged 45 minutes.

The line drop on Manhattan worries as does the look-ahead.

If I were going to play this game I would wait until the half. If the game is close I would hammer Manhattan for the 2H; not only are they the much better team but Rider has got to be tired after that OT game on Sunday.

If Manhattan is up by more than 7 at the half, I would lay off the 2H play.

Bj.. Definalty the look ahead to Fairfield was on my mind. But there is some revenge here too.Lyr Rider beat the Jaspers twice. But that was with Porter,Wicks and co.
Gonzalez usually beats weaker teams in Draddy.I think St petes was the only one winning by 10.Canisius Fairfield and Niagara all lost by 20,16 and 30.Godd teams like Siena,Iona, etc are closer games.

Valuist, you made a good pt too.Rider must play Johnson the whole game.
Superbook, not sure why the line dropped.but everytime I change something I lose.I did get it at -14.
