Just saw a video of Manziel doing some dunks on a basketball goal. They say he measured 5-11 and 3/4 and had a 31.5 inch vertical. He does some alley-oops which are generally easier but not always (although his were impressive I do admit) because you don't exactly have to palm the ball and just have to get above the rim, then he does a 360 which I was very impressed with. I am 6 foot and 1/2 inch and have a vertical of 34.5 and having watched this video and with extensive experience dunking (read: have tried millions of times and been successful about 500,000 times, do not read great dunker) I do believe without any facts this goal is at 9.5. I have done many one handed and two handed dunks and a reverse a few times but I don't see how he could pull off a 360 with his height and vertical unless his arms are extremely long or have extremely large hands or be using a womens ball. Does anyone else have an opinion or further knowledge/expertise in this area? I am just a little curious about all this, is it a 10 foot goal ? Or did he put up a video on a 9.5 foot goal. I shouldn't care that much but the 360 isn't adding up.
