A guy I work with ive come to find out over the past few weeks of training him used to train with Pacquiao when he was up and coming back in the day, knows his family and is very close to him. After a long discussion today he broke down every last detail about this man, how he fights, the opponents he has had, why the outcomes have been the way they have, etc, etc, very glad I met this guy. Anyway, today over lunch he broke down these two guys, down to the T. After his 45 minute assessment, I am staking 10 Units on Pacquiao. After hearing what he had to say, I dont doubt Pac gets it done.

Pacquiao -130 ($1300 to win $1000)

good luck

Better odds at pinnacle than -130. WIth a good sized bet it does make a pretty big difference.

Is this the fighter they call Pacman.

If it is I seen him fight and he was very good.

Not sure who the other guy is though.

I am on Pac man, but to say Morales is over-rated, I beg to differ. This guy has great stamina, is a superb ring technician, and comes to fight. However, the culmilative effect of his many "wars" may be a factor. Unlike Bernard Hopkins, who has never really been lumped up very badly over time, Morales has slugged it out on a number of occasions. This is far from an easy fight for Pac-man, and Freddie Roach may think likewise.

It could be the route. Manny I think will try to catch Morales not paying attention, and go balls to the wall for the whack. I need my over/under guy boxie to check in here.

I don't see Pacman stopping Morales at 130 lbs period. He knocked Marquez down 3 times in the first round but still couldn't do enough real damage to keep Juan from dominating the rest of the fight. Pac stopped Barerra in the 11th but it was a corner retirement and we all know that Barerra was completely off his game that night for many reasons. Pac has an advavntage over every higher weight fighter he faces in terms of speed, and thats where the flash knockdowns come from. He suprises his heavier opponents from the southpaw stance with his very quick straight left hand. He will definitly land that punch against Morales but it won't hurt him.

The problem with the over is that Morales is the much bigger guy here and we all know he can punch. After Morales gets used to the Pacman style he will be able to land as Pac slows down in the mid rounds. IMO Pac will have a very hard time taking big shots from a 130 lb Morales.

If the fight was tomarrow I would take Morales straight at even money and Pacman by decision +300 as a hedge. But there's still plenty of time left for contemplating so I'll get back to you on this when the time comes.
