March Madness has arrived at betED.com

March Madness is here and betED.com is the place to be for basketball betting ? from the opening round to the Sweet 16, from the Elite Eight to the Final Four.

betED.com will have daily updated game and first-half lines for the 2008 NCAA Tournament, as well as daily odds for the NIT and the new CBI tournaments.

The NCAA Tournament gets going Thursday and Friday with first-round action opening on fronts around the nation.

Of the four regional brackets, many consider the South to be the toughest, with the top-seeded Memphis Tigers the only team to go undefeated (16-0) in conference play this season.

Memphis opens NCAA Tournament play Friday as 25-point favorites against Texas Arlington at the Alltel Arena in Little Rock, AR. (9:55 pm ET, CBS). The over/under is 142.

Outside of the Conference USA, the Tigers scored wins over top-ranked teams like Georgetown, Arizona, Connecticut, USC and Oklahoma.

South No. 2 seed Texas Longhorns, who like the Tigers are considered Final Four material, open Friday against the Austin Peay Governors (3 pm ET, CBS). The Longhorns are 15?-point favorites and the over/under is 140.
The South region also has great depth, with top-ranked teams Stanford Cardinal the third seed and Pittsburgh Panthers fourth.
Stanford, which narrowly lost the Pac-10 championship game to the UCLA Bruins, opens Thursday as 14?-point favorites against the Cornell Big Red (5 pm ET, CBS), while Big East conference champion Pittsburgh is a 9-point favorite over Oral Roberts Golden Eagles, also on Thursday (3 pm ET, CBS).
Also in the South are sixth-seeded Marquette, eighth-seeded Mississippi State, and 12th-seeded Temple, one of the hottest teams in the country with seven straight wins and an Atlantic 10 tournament title.
Check out betED.com daily throughout March Madness.
