The AL Central-leading Twins host the AL West-leading Mariners at the Metrodome tonight.

Following an 11-14 start Minnesota has won four straight and 20 of their last 26 to be 31-20 overall this season. Veteran right-hander Brad Radke gets the call for the Twins tonight and he is a mediocre 5-4, 5.43 ERA this season. In 17 career starts against the Mariners he is a disappointing 5-9, 5.38 ERA.

Seattle has won nine of their last twelve despite dropping two home games to the Twins. Seattle is 20-6 this season against the AL Central and it's worth noting that their .696 road winning percentage is better than the Twins .600 home mark. Gil Meche starts for the Mariners tonight and the right-hander is a stellar 6-2, 2.86 ERA this season. In nine starts he has allowed just 18 runs and can boast an almost 3:1 strike-outs to walks ratio. Meche is 3-1, 3.47 ERA lifetime against Minnesota while the Mariners are 10-5 in Minnesota since the start of the 2000 season.

Seattle are a perfect 12-0 this year in Game 1's following a series victory and we expect that trend to continue tonight.
