I hate to say it.. but this game actually intrigues me. Although Loyola MD appears to be absolutely horrendous, some of their losses aren't all that bad: At Manhattan by 12.. At Iona by 12 (Iona shot 64%), At Fairfield by 12.. and lost to Niagara at home by 7.. Then we have the ugly loss by 26 at St Petes, 25 to Santa Clara and 30 at Northeastern.. So I'm not sure what to make of this team.. Lucious Jordan and Donovan Thomas are talented players as well.. Marist depends highly on the 3 PT. shot, and Loyola has allowed opponents to shoot only 31% from long range....

So I'm leaning towards a play on Loyola on +6... Any insight from you MAAC men out there? Thanks..

Storming --

FWIW I'm on L-M +6, I posted it this morning.

Box can provide the color commentary, I think he saw that Iona game and I'm pretty sure he's seen Marist too.

Marist is weak and Luscious is a monster. Don't have the numbers in front of me but I think L-M is 3-1 ATS on the road in league games -- not a bad record.

I think they'll do it at home tonite, I wouldn't be surprised to see them win SU.

Superbook.I went to the Marist game last week vs Canisius.Plus I get their games on TV.A tape delay.Marist doesn't want to lose the extra 100 people that will go to the game instead of staying home and watching it 2 hours later.
Everyone knows the Greyhounds are bad.But no one knows where Marist is at.They just don't have any depth.Hood a Texas kid has been playing lately. He was suspossed to be an impact gd.But he has been playing terrible. But Magarity has given him minits to spell Bennett and Ellerbee. They have no subs. Both local kids Sossler and Siegrest are role players.Handy is a 6'8 Morman who looks like he is a skateboarder.
Tonite is not a big play.I liked Loy-md thinking the line was 8 pts.I would play them. But 5.5 is within striking distance.
Marist will have trouble vs teams with good post players.Thats why they have to play zone.To collaspe and help.Loy really doesn't have any solid scorer there.
I'm storming, your right about Loy-md stopping the 3.But remember when you have the worst defense in the conf every team can drive right to the hoop and score.
As a coach I'd be screaming at my team for shooting 3's.I'll take a layup over a 3. ha..
Gl tonite.

Storming -- sounds like a good game to pass on; I am. I bought the other side at -5.5 and am hoping it lands on 6. I can't go against Coach Box. Maybe a good game to play at the half???
