I took Alvarado +250. Marquez is pretty old and he's been through a lot of wars. His best days are behind him. I think Alvarado will be the aggressor and he will land more punches. I'm sure Juan Marquez will land some counter punches, but Alvarado has a pretty good chin. He can take what Marquez delivers. I think this fight is a lot closer than the line indicates. Marquez -305 is a terrible bet in my opinion. I like Alvarado by decision due to his higher work rate.

If I knew Alvarado was going to box from the outside and give away half of the rounds, I wouldn't have bet on him. He can't box from the outside. To box from the outside you need A) a good jab, B) quick hand speed and C) good counter punching skills. Alvarado has none of the above. He lost this fight on strategy. He gave away the first half of the fight.

Boxers have found the fountain of youth. Fighters don't age anymore. Marquez is 40 and he hasn't lost a beat. He was the quicker fighter at age 40. Bernard Hopkins is light heavyweight champion at age 50.

I'm done with boxing. I don't want to watch Marquez fight Pacquiao for the 100th time. I have zero interest in that fight. I don't want to watch Mayweather fight Maidana again. I have zero interest in watching that fight again. I don't want to watch another Klitschko fight or another Bernard Hopkins fight. I'm tired of watching one sided fights. The card on HBO tonight was boring. I can't remember the last good boxing match that I watched. They're boring one sided pieces of crap. I would rather watch paint dry. :0072

I had alvarado, too

didn't get into the fight early enough

he trained with rudy hernandez at his best

his trainer now just seems like a blowhard with no technical acumen

Look at the fight this weekend. Adonis Stevenson vs Fonfara. Who wants to watch this fight? Stevenson is a twenty to one favorite. I want to see and would pay money to watch Stevenson fight Sergei Kovalev. Why won't that fight happen? Because champions like Stevenson can make millions of dollars bum hunting fighters like Fonfara.

I have to admit that I'm interested in the Miguel Cotto vs. Sergio Martinez fight coming up.

yup

fonfara on paper has like 1% or 2% shot but in reality the number may be a negative. stevenson should obliterate him, $2000 to win $100... easy $100

HBO was trying to set up stevenson -kovalev but then stevenson signed with al haymon and went to HBO. they're trying to set up stevenson- hopkins. Fight an old man for more money

kathy duva is now suing stevenson and his promoter

read some shit about al haymon, if you haven't heard about him, he has huge influence behind the scenes but he's rarely seen, advises mayweather
