depends on your wife and your first year of marriage!

When you get a broken leg for one and a car wreck injury for the other within the first month of being married then follow that up with a pregnancy in 3 months with the baby being born 2 months after your first anniversary, the first year left something to be desired in the coital category!! :142smilie

Pretty bad to be involved in the car wreck (resulted in a severely bruised tailbone for the wife) the day you get home from the honeymoon :scared That injury doesn't lead itself to too much s e x!! About a month after that is when I broke my leg, and Lortabs don't help the sex life either, lol!! Then, bingo, she's pregnant as soon as we both get back "in gear". :SIB

'twas a very rough start for us to say the least!!

Well, I'm not married and I'm not a man, so I am intruding on your thread, but I say no way! For the purpose of this thread, let's just say you have sex every day for the first year of your marriage - that's 365 days. Let's also assume a long and happy marriage - so by your 30th anniversary, if you wanted to keep your pennies even, you would have had sex only 12.6 times/year after the first year, or once a month plus birthday sex every other year.

Yeah right! If this is anyone's sex life, well then I feel bad for you I guess... I can tell you this will never happen with the man I marry, so he better be ready to perform a little better than that!

well, i tried this, we just had our first year anniversary on sept 28, and just had our first child and since our first anniversary ive taken 3 pennies out, mainly due to the new child, that kills all sex talk for quite a while.

No shit, man. I got married in 10/02, had a kid in 1/04 and 12/05, so she's been pregnant the majority of our marriage. Needless to say, there have been some serious droughts during my marriage.

My dear Hippo, your example dont take in account that once a day for the first year isnt that much... :nono: Dont forget those days when it is 2-3x + times a day!!! :yup ;)

But why would this 2-3+ times/day end after the first year? Where can I find a man who can sustain that pace for years? I can understand how kids might slow down sex a little, but marriage - why? Please educate me so I can know how much sex I need to squeeze in before I get married to make up for the apparent sexless days to come.

Sincerely, nympho

Not true. I am not saying that things don't slow down. But, in all honesty, the older you get, sometimes a nap is better than sex!:scared

Well i bet 95 of all men will say it's their wives that usually aren't up for sex. I can't think of a time where my wife wanted to have sex and I said no.

not that my marriage is in trouble, but if for some reason it doesn't work out, I'll get in touch with you Hippo and we can keep our jar of pennies full:142hump: :142hump: :142hump: :142hump: :s6: :s6:

My guess Hippo is you're around early 20's or less? Dont call yourself nympho here!!!! :scared I am sure (it has already started as i see! :SIB ) there are NUMEROUS men in this board who would be more than willing to show you the joy of life if you get bored... :com: :brows: !!! I didnt say the 2-3X times a day will stop but it sure as hell as children change things a lot, at least, while they are young... It gets back to normal after that i think... Just make sure your next one will know what are your needs BEFORE you get married and he will be aware of it and he will take care of you the way you wanted... ;)

That's OK, I'm not insulted. I'm pretty sure my parents wouldn't be too happy with me marrying "The Sponge" either ;)

More or less or more...

I never said I was bored or not experiencing the joy of life! :SIB
