Thought all along that the Herd could come in and give the Bucks a battle. Then the unthinkable happened and Marshall lost their opener to Troy State, who also handled the herd last year.

I was ready to back off of this one a bit,until I saw the grit of Troy State last night. Their victory over Mizzou validates my planned play on the Herd in Columbus for me. The buckeyes were far from a smooth running offensive machine vs. Cinci last week, and barring major improvement I think the Herd hangs around.

I'm not off to my greatest of starts this year, but do feel good about this one.

I love the play. The ML may be pushing it but would pay nicely.

Even though Marshall is probably a better team than Cincinnati (based on last year's results - UC did probably underperform compared to their talent level), I readily took UC +15.5, but had a hard time pulling the trigger on Marshall +16.5. However, I finally did it - small.

Thanks fellas, and great day today teddy. I ate my Akron U tics tonight to see the entire Marshall game. The Herd dominated the 2nd half and botched two FG chances (one a fake) that allowed the Bucks to kick the game winner as time expired.

Not to bitch, but should have cashed the ML as well.
