The current starter for Iowa, Brendon Sullivan, will miss the rest of the season. Cade McNamara will return to the staring role.. or will he?
Head coach Kirk Ferentz hinted that the walk on transfer Jackson Stratton may see some playing time.
Stratton and Sullivan are mobile QBs where McNamara is a statue behind center. Iowa would have a better chance with Stratton taking the majority of snaps tomorrow, but that’s not Ferentz’ M.O.
I jumped on the terps +6.5 and the under 46.5 when the news broke here in Iowa on Tuesday when it was announced Sullivan is done for the year.
See the line and total are dropping now that more people are aware of the QB situation for Iowa.
