I think it's pretty well established practice for Augusta National to not comment on the size of the purse being offered at the Masters. However, I seem to recall that the amount of the winner's share gets leaked around the time the event gets underway. I would assume all the figures are discreetly provided to the PGA office at some point for purposes of determining official earnings, or in a press release with the standings after the event.
