Golf 2007:
WCG Accenture Match Play +27.5 units
Masters week is great, isn't it? watched 2 hours on the golf channel today @ '86, favorite Bear shot is on 16 - as if he was trying to MAKE the shot
Anyway, on to this year - playing a few smaller and one large
Choi +125 vs Immelman
Instead of looking at Trevor's t6 in '05, I look at the 2 mc's that surround it / Choi seems to really feel comfortable at Augusta, including 3rd outright in '04
Oberholser -110 vs Appleby
Stuart might be a little bit weary mentally after the battle with Scott lw / Ob obviously liked the track ly with his t14 / scrambling advantage goes to Arron as well
Howell III -150 vs Toms
Don't think David will be around for the weekend / despite CH III's pitiful performance ly (164 - mc) think this is a diff player / think he'll realize he needs to put less pressure on himself and just go out and play / Tom's has had a couple of decent performances in previous Masters, but all the lengthening has basically rendered him a non-factor / hasn't made the cut since '03
4 units each
One matchup that caught my eye initially and I keep going back to it / Robert Allenby has had a phenomenal year, 6 top 10's already, but none of those came at The Masters / Allenby is a great ball striker and a very solid player, but at Augusta the cream has a tendency to rise to the top, and Geoff Ogilvy is one of the classiest players in the world / Allenby put up a respectable t22 ly, but has had an otherwise lackluster Masters career / Ogilvy has only played once, but put up a t16 in his first go-round / GO talks about how he would wake up early as a child in Australia to watch the tourney, so he obviously understands the importance / conditions will be tough and I believe that again favors the players who are truly the "best of the best", and Ogilvy fits directly into that category / hate to lay the juice but doesn't matter if you don't lose
10 units Geoff Ogilvy -130 vs Allenby
Gl - LA Burns
