i only use matchbook for baseball so i cleared out my account in november and last month i went to reload it for baseball and realized i couldn't get any money to them. after several emails and uncertainty if i'd ever be able to use them again i get this email yesterday! hope they don't disappoint. matchbook's the greatest for baseball cause it's a market and the juice gets reduced to almost zero and you only pay commission.
i hope they pull through!

Dear Jason,

We will have a new deposit method up and running this week. I will email you the details as soon as they are available to me.

Kind Regards,

Pat

well you're not betting against the book, you're betting against another person. for ML, instead of being an automatic 10 or 20 point gap, it almost vanishes in games where there's equal betting on the sides and gets infinitely large if one side's dominated. i think it's fantastic. in general... if you take a typical game, like say a -160/+140 baseball game at a typical not -reduced juice book, in matchbook, both sides will closer to 150 like -153/+148.... because the only line set by matchbook is the intial market starter (like the bookmaker at the NYSE, they offer both sides to keep the market open, even if they have to lose a little money)... and then you can offer the line you want and if it's accepted on the other side by someone then you have a bet. check out the site, read the 2 or 3 pages explaining it all. in my example above, the -153 would be someone seeking +153 on their side and the +148 is someone offering -148 on their side, so the market's setting the line, and you only pay commission on your winnings, which you can read about on the site. 1% for baseball. whereas paying 10 points on every bet you're paying 4.5%.

funding matchbook

funding matchbook

I just set up my matchbook account. Looking forward to using it. Should save $$'s over the long haul.

As far as funding the account, I am doing a bank wire. The fee from my bank for the wire is $30.00, but if I understood the terms correctly, they will comp me my bank fees which will be reflected in my online account.

If I have any success/problems, I will post.

if you're in the US, your wire will be returned and you will lose the fee. it's illegal.
