Going to Maui in two weeks for my honeymoon. Anyone been there have suggestions on good places to eat or places to see??

Hve to do the drive to Hana.
Play massive amounts of golf at Wailea and Kapaulua.
Do the back ride down the volcano.

Wialea Marriott Resort, We are in maui for three days, 27th to 30th, then we are going to Kauai from the 30th to the 4th.
One of my friends said to try Pacifico Restaurant for dinner, someone told my wife we should try Roy's. We are going to do the sunrise mountain tour, other than that not sure what else we will pack into 3 days there.

Sun is the road to Hana worth it? My wife wants to do it, but I have had two people tell me it was nothing special.
if your wife wants to do it that is pretty much the end of the discussion, especially if you are trying to play lots of golf. The scenery is beautiful but it didnt exactly excite me either.
I do plan on playing golf, but since we are going with my in laws I told my wife she could just go with her mom and her dad and I would belly up to a bar somewhere. We do have a convertible so we'll see how much heat I am getting when we are down there whether or not I go.
Leilani's in Whaler's Village...great food.
Kimo's in Lahaina...great beers and burgers.
The Pineapple Grill next to the Ritz Carlton...great fish.
The Swan Court in Ka'anapoli Mariott...the best i mean best brunch

I go a lot with the family can you tell.
just down from Kapalua's Championship Course (you will se many cars) there is a little cut out. Stop there follow the rest of the cars down to the ocean and snorkle...the best.

Hatcher, I didn't realize it was you, Hunter here, congrats on the engagement. Won't be able to make it to the game this year do to my bachelor party in Memphis this weekend. I know, but it was the only weekend everyone could do it before the wedding.
First of all, Phenom, you and c20916 are going to be on the opposite ends of the island. Getting together will be tedious. There's nowhere to meet in the middle thats worth it.....(about 45 mins. apart.)
Aside from one of the Kapalua courses, I think he will be getting the best of the golf. Wailea, blue and gold courses are very nice and chalenging from the tips. The course at Ka'anapali isn't anything special and the wind howls.
You however will be getting the best of everything else. Lahaina has nightlife, more restaurants to choose from and budhachi hit the nail on the head about the snorkling. Just below Kapula golf courses is the best sknorkling on the island. The day boats (out of Lahaina) go there also. A day trip to Molokini for snorkling is worth it if you have the time and like to get in the water.
I live on the left coast so I go there around 4 times a year. Usually split time between Maui and the Big Island. You'll love it. Have a great time!!

Thanks for everyone's input, I can't wait to go, been waiting a long time to go to Hawaii, don't know how much golf I can get in anyways...
What island do they film "Lost" on? If it is on Maui I wouldn't mind stopping by...(probably a shot in the dark though).

For us Kauai was a veg out place. We drove to the mini-Grand Canyon but otherwise I played golf at Princeville and Poipu Bay and otherwise hung out. We did take a helicopter tour of the island which was amazing since you cant drive to the best parts. Of course they are death traps though. But my wife insisted. We were only there 3 days. Maui certainly has much more to offer.
