Mavericks and Cuban

I think we touched on Cuban earlier in the year. I think some of the stuff he does is over the top, but the Mavericks win last night (IMO) is a direct result of the attitude that he brings to the team. Knock him if you want, but his team is in the second round for the first time in a VERY long time.

....plus the fact that Utah is way past their prime with old geezers like Stockton and Malone, and the Mavs have the young bucks.

I, personally, dont have anything against Cuban. I think he is quite a personality. The NBA is sooo damn dull that I think he is good for the game.

Not to bash old geezers, just watch the Wizards next year win it all with Jordan and Barkley.

I like him, and I have since day one. Look at all that cash he's given to charities b/c of his fines from the league office. I find it wonderful that there is finally an owner who will not put up with the silly chit that comes from the NBA front office. I'd love to see ole Stern have to hand that NBA Championship trophy to Cuban. That would be a KODAK moment..
