Another exhaustion game. If you put stock in this, this is a game to play. Both teams last 5 games:

Dallas last five games Houston last five games

01/14 - L at Orl, 87-113 01/15 - L at Philadelphia, 106-112 ot
01/15 - W at Atl, 116-107 01/16 - L at Toronto, 103-109
01/17 - W at Mem, 108-97 01/18 - W at Boston, 104-101
01/19 - W vs. Uth, 106-103 01/19 - L at New Jersey, 90-99
01/21 - W vs. NJ, 113-105 01/21 - L at Atlanta, 91-95

Dallas's 3rd game in four days. Houston's fourth game in 5 days, 6th game in eight days. Houston is also coming off an extended road trip with 0 days rest.

Don't look for Houston to stop anyone tonight but themselves. The only thing that could stop the over is Houston being too tired to shoot straight.

I think Dallas -5.5 is a strong play. Over 204.5 less so, but I'd lean that way. Maybe first half over would work better in case Houston totally loses their legs in second half.

If I'm all wet here, let me know.

i think Dallas is a good play but so is the UNDER......these two teams will play hard beacuse they do not like each other and i think FG % will be low......Rockets shooting very good last few games til yesterday and think trending downward.....K Thomas out who is a defensive liability and good offensive player.....think tiredness will be less reflected in effort defensively and more reflected in pace leading to an UNDER play.......

just my opinion though and was wrong yesterday.......

give me an opinion on your Wichita game today....if you got time....thanks....

I admit that the large number is troubling for an over. If Houston hangs around, they can dictate pace somewhat. If you believe Dallas will win easily, they should force the pace more to their liking. I'd say if you like parlays, this would be a good game to play. For Houston to cover, this HAS TO GO WELL UNDER. If Dallas wins by double digits, I think there's a very good chance the game will go over. Quickly, I like WSU. Will post over in CBB.

The over does seem like the play with the overwhelming stats and trends, but this game has 99-87 written all over it. Coming off of no rest this season, I believe Houston is averaging under 90 points a game. Think that is over 6 games.

liked Mavs here a lot at -5'. Line has dropped to -4. I don't get it. Mavs have revenge going for them. I guess the Texas rivalry makes it too close to call. I pass, but I'll be sore if Dallas romps.

Computer went down. Couldn't make WSU post in CBall forum. I'm glad I couldn't. Had a big write up about how defensive specialist Howard would help shut down the Jays. He had big time foul trouble. As I said Saturday, picking a side would be tough. Wasn't a huge play, but a play nonetheless. Wish I had been able to communicate that.

Next game on the road. Looking to go against them if the number is right.

As for Dallas/Houston. Yes, I won, but it wasn't completely what I expected. Houston played Dallas' pace and still could have won. Dallas 113 not a shock. Houston 107 very much so given the specific circumstances of this game. It's nice to miscall the outcome and still win.

I urge you all to take a look at those schedules. When both teams have played a lot of games in a short period, assume over, then dig a little deeper. I don't bet over in all these situations, probably about 75-80%.

Good job, i had the rockets +5 1/2 and the over....thought i had both before cat decided to be an idiot down the stretch.

Dont try to pick against such a strong trend guys (that took the under) with the unders in dallas...when you have a trend that strong....dont try to pick out the occasional under with that team either bet the over or stay away because they play no d and they can shoot the lights out.

dnuggets, you are right

dnuggets, you are right

When I broke this game down, everything pointed over over over. Why I went against the numbers is beyond me. Should have stuck with what was working for me and that was the over. Again, congrats to everyone that took the over.
