Gouveia Misses Weight for MFC 25

Thursday, May 6 8:53 pm PT: American Top Team?s Wilson Gouveia came in three pounds over for his 205-pound bout against ?The Ultimate Fighter 8? veteran Ryan Jimmo for Friday?s Maximum Fighting Championship 25 ?Vindication? Northlands Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.

Gouveia will forfeit 20 percent of his purse, according to MFC officials. The headlining fight and seven others will broadcast live on HDNet at 10:00 p.m. EST.

Also on the card, former UFC middleweight contender Thales Leites (185.5) will face TUF 7 alumnus Jesse Taylor (184.5). Hard-hitting welterweight strikers Luigi Fioravanti (170.5) and Pete Spratt (169.5) will also clash.

I could easily lose all 4, but maybe 1 or 2 of these doggies bite
anything more than 2 and its happy happy joy joy

Gonna keep my main focus on UFC and boxing

Spratt and Jimmo are two live dogs , I didnt like how Luigi got laid out by Alessio last time . Also Gouveia has to win in rd 1 cuz he only comes to fight first 3 mins like Pudzan :142smilie
Jimmo isn't great but he doesn't make a lot of mistakes or leave openings . Gouveia will come hard early and try to take his head off , if Jimmo can stay out of trouble he got a chance .
Newton must win here , I had decent amount on Jimmo over him last time but not sure if Lewis can get it done , I thought he got lucky vs Eastman .

I almost bet Neil because I think Hightower is shite but I am getting sick of betting guy's sight unseen and then being very disappointed.

I think Gavin Neil gets it done with a decision win.
I did a small play on him.

Gavin Neil(-120) 60 wins 50.

I got more than I wanted to in this card but things seem to go well for me on these type cards.
