I put most of my figures and stats in last nite and almost completed them today.I did leave out ats records. So this is really not totally finished but almost.I did my own lines w/o peaking or any hints.I love to do this blindly.I know the lines constantly move but I'm pretty proud of what I did.
I hit 8 games right on the money. My proudest was Cinn -24 over BU.I hit another 15 games and missed by 2 pts or less.About 5 of them was by a half a pt.I had Florida -10 over Creighton. It's -9.5.My worst misses were the top seeds vs the bottoms. I had Kansas -27 over Holy Cross and its -30 or Duke -31 over Winthrop and its -34.Those are hard ones to figure out.
My biggest differences were these games. And will have to go back and check them out more.
I had Wisky -7 over the Johnnies. The line is -2.I had Conn -17 over Hampton and its -13.
Cal -10 over Penn and the line is -4.
ND -3 over NC-Char and the line is pk
Zona -10 over UCSB and its -13.5
Georgia -12 over Murray St and its -9
I had 2 teams that I missed the wrong favorite. I had Miss -1 over UCLA buts its the other way around and Ok St -2 over Kent and its Kent -1.5.
Now I need to break down the type of defenses teams use,FG%,defensive stats away records, etc. Will be working real hard the next few days.
March madness is tough to capp because many don't have common opponets and have never played each other.
I'm upset with the seedings with Kansas and Maryland getting No 1 seeds after losing their tourneys.Whats the pt of having them other then someone upsetting a conf champion and an automatic bid.If you lose the tourney you have to be penalized somehow.Regardless of your reg season record.
Being a Big East fan I think taking the Johnnies and BC over some other well deserved MAC teams was bad.I know about the RPI's etc.And Zaga as a 6th is absurd. That West is a tough bracket
But I love this time of the year. When the Boston Terriers won their America East tourney the other day the players were all celebrating on the floor and chanting."We want Duke,we want Duke".I loved it.They could careless who their dancing partner is in round one. They are going to the big dance.
They didn't get the Blue Devils so they really lucked out.But they did get Huggybares Barekats. And I think BU will be saying, "May I have this last dance ..........."

They rely heavily on defense to win. I don't think they are gonna even come close to shutting down the Cats guards. It won't be like playing Utah STate where the Aggies couldn't hit a three to save their lives. Arizona's up and down style will give the Gauchos way more then they can handle. I think this will be one of the bigger blowouts in the first round.

i think it is unreal how the committee paved the way for Duke......only team in their bracket i can see giving them a game is USC......there are about 5 or 6 team in the West with a chance to beat them....

yep....then Kansas will have to go through Stanford, possibly Illinois -- who knocked them out last year, and Oregon to reach the final four.....unbelievable......your chances of winning the national title are influenced so much in the bracketing....on any given night a team with a chance of beating you could, and if there are few teams in your bracket with a chance, you have a clear path......

stick a bunch of good teams in a bracket, and its pretty much a tossup

ditto box and doc--the last two or three years duke has had no competition until the elite eight game--hopefully usc can advance into the sweet sixteen this year--i used to be a duke admirer, but i have grown tired of the hype and obvious seeding advantages---a lot of teams could go to the final four if they only had to win one legitimate game to get there.
