Mayorga moving to 154 lbs. after 4/17/04 bout!!!

Just saw a headline on a boxing site that Ricardo Mayorga is going up after he knocks Jose Rivera out in 3 rds.

Mayorga stated that it's not because he can't make 147 lbs. He said that he is just moving up and wants to fight Javier Castillejo (WBC interim 154 lb. titlist).

What happens to King's Spinks/Mayorga 2 match?

won`t be real successful at 154....if spinks made a fool of him.winky wright certainly will...he couldn`t beat dela hoya with a stick....and i honestly think that several others will handle him.... verno phillips,ouma and olajide all have great shots ay beating mayorga.....

i don`t understand all the love for this guy....very little skill...he was stronger than most welters....it will be even tougher to just walk through jr middles....

bad move for a guy that`s talent challenged to begin with...
