Why not take the kid by KO? You can get some huge numbers if Ortiz is your play. To me, he stands a much better chance of knocking Mayweather out than taking a decision win. I just don't see him hanging with Floyd in a pure boxing match. If he goes balls to the wall as in the Berto fight, a KO is possible. But I really don't see that either. Floyd says he trained 2-3 weeks more than normal for this. Speaks to his long layoff and realization his skills are diminishing. He knows his best days are past. I think we get a 90% Floyd, which is still better than a 100% Ortiz, IMHO.

The chances of Floyd Mayweather Jr. losing is very slim. I give it a 1%

it's higher than 1% due to floyd's punch output diminishing and less speedy legs

watch what he did against arturo gatti, he was like vivaldi and shiet :142smilie

then watch his fight against mosley fight

He did not fight his usual fight against Mosley, he walked him down and stayed in the pocket.

I think he is going to stop Ortiz in this fight due to Ortiz forcing him too.
I think May will need to fight through some very rough spots in this fight and it will bring out the best in him.
He has been too used to getting his own way recently and is content to step off the gas and coast to a decision.
I believe Ortiz will force him to remain on the gas and it will end badly for Ortiz.

If that makes any sense???

+600 is worth a shot as Money might turn old overnight at some point.

Agree paulie. I would hope the Ortiz people know they cannot outbox Floyd. But they may also believe a win by stoppage is their best shot. If Ortiz brings it big time, the the corner/ref may stop it, most likely the corner. I think Joe Cortez is the 3rd man, so he stops fights early also. If Steve Smoger was in, it would end with a homicide.
