On the lake. Setting hooks!
I keep having these thoughts of an upset. Mccline is a big fellow with a hard punch & good chin. Klitschko has good technique. But seems to swell when somebody gets to him. And one cannot forget his loss to Purity when the going got tough. I am not set on a pick yet. Still pondering.

Just don't see him pulling the upset.

Vladimir Klitscko, VK, is a very good boxer with a long and successful amateur career. He knows how to box and hits very hard.

McCline is just another big palooka to me. I wasn't too impressed with him taking out Briggs. Before that was the fight against Goofi who really showed he didn't know what he was doing in the ring, and before that Grant, who went down on the first punch with the broken ankle.

He couldn't knock out Briggs (who can?) or GOOFi. His last real KO was King Ipitan, a real piece of crap fighter.

With VK, you're just getting a real pro. A guy with a great jab, good head movement, lots of power. An all around boxer. Manny Steward says he's the only guy he'd worry about putting Lewis up against.

His last 4 have ended with TKO's and before that he beat Chris Byrd in a completely lopsided decision (one judge had it 120-106). Byrd is arguably better than McCline.

Not sure what's in these guys styles that would get McCline an edge. VK fights clean enough and well enough that I can't really imagine a stoppage. I think McCline gets exposed this fight for a chump.

However, the weas said he had an upset coming up. Maybe he's on McCline -- he's certainly been hitting fights lately.

Gonna have a hard time laying the juice with VK, but that's probably the way I go.

I agree Shrimp. WK is very polished. Has great technique. But not quite sure Mccline is a bum. And let me make it clear. I hope WK knocks everybody out and becomes Heavyweight champion. But I'm worried about his heart and fragile skin. Mccline is a big guy. Has decent skill. And a good chin. I believe he will be the best test WK has fought to date. I can find nobody on his record I can say is better. Byrd is a great defensive fighter. If Byrd makes it to the final bell and has the right judges calling the fight. The kind that like movement and defensive skills. Then he has a shot in getting a decision in any fight. But WK beat him. And lets don't forget VK had him beat easily until the shoulder injury. And then there is Ike who clocked him. I'm just saying Mccline will test him. And is a live dog I believe. As always I enjoy your views. Have a great turkey day.
