Just don't see him pulling the upset.
Vladimir Klitscko, VK, is a very good boxer with a long and successful amateur career. He knows how to box and hits very hard.
McCline is just another big palooka to me. I wasn't too impressed with him taking out Briggs. Before that was the fight against Goofi who really showed he didn't know what he was doing in the ring, and before that Grant, who went down on the first punch with the broken ankle.
He couldn't knock out Briggs (who can?) or GOOFi. His last real KO was King Ipitan, a real piece of crap fighter.
With VK, you're just getting a real pro. A guy with a great jab, good head movement, lots of power. An all around boxer. Manny Steward says he's the only guy he'd worry about putting Lewis up against.
His last 4 have ended with TKO's and before that he beat Chris Byrd in a completely lopsided decision (one judge had it 120-106). Byrd is arguably better than McCline.
Not sure what's in these guys styles that would get McCline an edge. VK fights clean enough and well enough that I can't really imagine a stoppage. I think McCline gets exposed this fight for a chump.
However, the weas said he had an upset coming up. Maybe he's on McCline -- he's certainly been hitting fights lately.
Gonna have a hard time laying the juice with VK, but that's probably the way I go.
