Outright plays (total stake per play: 1.5pts)

Darren Clarke to win 20/1 e.w. available generally
Only once since this event moved to the week after the Masters has this title been won by a player who missed the cut at Augusta. Rather than fatigue, the momentum from a good performance at the first major of the week appears to be the carry-over from last week. And that fits both Clarke and Verplank. The Irishman had a strong weekend after making the cut on the mark to finish 17th and while he hasn't quite captured his pre-March break form, he is still is in plenty enough form to prosper on this links-type course. He finished 11th last year despite a poor weekend, so should be competitive in his last PGA Tour event of the Spring.

Scott Verplank to win 28/1 e.w. @ GolfingGods
Verplank also finished in the top-20 last week and it was enough to confirm that after a very difficult start to the year that his 2nd place in the Players Championship was no fluke. When in form, he is a very consistent feature on the leaderboard and is well-suited to this short track where he finished 11th, 3rd and 5th from 2000 to 2002.

Geoff Ogilvy to win 40/1 e.w. @ Paddy Power, Ladbrokes and Tote
By contrast, Ogilvy didn't play last week having narrowly failed to qualify by virtue of being in the top-50 of the World Rankings. But now rested since the Players Championship, he should be very well-prepared for this event and particularly having finished 11th and 3rd in the last two years here. He has already won this year and with that course form, it is rather surprising that his odds are so large.

er, not looking overly original here but...

1pt e/w Verplank at 28/1 golfgods
1pt e/w Geoff Ogilivy at 40/1 totesport
1pt e/w Zach Johnson at 28/1 with PaddyPower

also try a bit of a wild one...

0.5pt e/w Jose Coceres at 150/1 with sporting odds. good record here and finished top 20 twice in 4 starts this year. looks a big price.

USPGA Tour - MCI Heritage
Place Betting - Place Only 1,2,3,4,5 - Bet until: April 14, 2005 12:00 PM
MAYFAIR, Billy @17.00,

Was hoping for better odds but when I saw Skybet @ 7/1 thought I'd go quicker.
Mayfair has a couple top 5's here past 5 years and his work in off season on putting has him in maybe best form of his life being out of top 16 only twice in past 6 events.

a few 72 holes
Verplank -110 over Kelly @ SB (ties lose)
Pampling -110 over Ames @ WTTS
Mayfair -110 over Funk @ WTTS

Hate to bet ties lose but as those above I really favor Verplank in this tourney--Kelly not done so well here and was quite ill after Players Champ but played decent in Masters.

Pampling and Ames 2 that been going in opposite directions IMO.

--and Mayfair--Rarily do I deviate the #s which would slightly favor Funk but going to do here.

Pampling @ 40/1

Currently he is -2 in his 2nd round on 14th hole with leaders coming back.Very tough wind for PM players--and Pamps course and current form respectible and love these aussies in the wind with more projected next 2 days.

DTB where are you getting the GIR's, Hollywood or Wagerweb or both? Would be following you but ran out of cash there and transferred my money around to the wrong places-figured they only brought it back for the Masters and when Wagerweb posted their lines on Tuesday night they did not have any of these listed. Another bad decision this week :cursin:

Sorry SS Just now seeing your post.Been getting them at both.
Did same as you and withdrew bulk after they discontinued props but left left some @ each in case I found weak 1/2 stroke line.
Having a hard time navigating Wagerweb new setup--have to log back in every time I go to diff prop.

The baseball/gir props are tempting but believe I'll pass. I know how the course is going to play but don't know how the baseball teams will. You now have 2 performance variables where there was only one before.
