grabbed it early this morning...already up to 7 at most other books. my play is a homer play as i think memphis should have been favored by 3-4. with that line at 7 it seems to beg for Zag money. Injury notes...

Mem PG DWash should start, but is he healthy? He IS NOT 100%, should be around 80% which is not good IMO. He has a deep thigh bruise(same a shaq's inj) and it hasnt healed quickly. Back up andre allen is OK, certainly no Dwash. Tigers AVG mid 90s with washington and mid 70s without him... If Washington starts and isnt productive or shows signs of not being able to be agile, Cal will pull him which he should. Backup Center Kareem Cooper may not play either and he is important body under the bucket as well. Memphis is prone to get in foul trouble and without Cooper they could get in trouble early.

Game is HUGE for Memphis tonight with some ESPN people saying this team is over-rated. Cal is using that as one reason for motivation in the locker room. I know it is early, but if they win tonight they should look for a 1 or 2 seed come tourney time barring a major injury or collapse. Zags had a piss poor showing against ST Lou the other night and have been in Memphis since then so they should be ready after a flat game 4 days ago. As i said, Washington is the X-factor, if he plays and is able to contribute tigers should win. Morrison loves the national spotlight. Carney will be on him and his defense has improved all year. If Morrison goes for 30 or more it could spell trouble for Mem. This game should be a buzzer beater type game. I think the line is too high and i dont see either team winning by more than 4 or 5 points...having said that, i have Memphis -5' :scared
