ahhruff, your two picks are my two picks. I look at goaltending as a huge factor when you get down to these huge games. Nabokov vs Nittymaki. Don't get me wrong I think Nittymaki is a solid goaltender. But Nabokov is in a zone right now. I think he surrendered 1 goal in 3+ games for Russia. I just think Nittymaki willl crack and Russia's potent offense might bury the finns.
For the Czechs, Hlinicka in goal is CRAZY. He was the third string coming in. He can play well and has, but I think Lundqvist has the edge on him. I know Lundqvist is young, but I think he is really poised and the Swedes are going to give their A game to get finally get to a finals.
So that's my two cents, I think Russia and Sweden will meet in the finals.
