Considering how he turned it around at Cincy AND the fact that we KNOW that he has the talent to win the big one - you got some bargain there.
For me, no thanks at any odds. Not exagerating. He's a head case and it's getting worse as he gets older.

Now that the draws are out, who do you think has the best draw of the four guys discussed in this thread? I think I saw Berdych up against fed in 3rd or 4th round, but I think the other 3 are relatively scot-free.

I like Gonzo's draw, think he can beat Murray and make it quite a long way...

Threw a little bit on Hewitt to win the open at 50-1. I think he beats Gasquet(he loves Flushing and is playing well this week), and then I've got hewitt(50-1) and roddick(45-1) facing off to reach the semis. I think either one can knock off Nads make the finals.
Having watched Golovin live the last couple years at Flushing, I get the sense that she may be ready to break through a little and make at least a run to the semis. Just a hunch, and she took Sharapova to a 3rd last time they played before having to withdraw. So I threw 2 units at her to beat Chakvetadze and 1 unit on her to win the open at 160-1. If she can win today that will open up a massive hedging opportunity.

played hewitt in last round at a steal-120. he only lost about 7 games in match. playing him again today. got roddick and roger to win title. got serena and justin to win womens.
Learning now that it is difficult to hedge with someone like Golovin - sharapova is -900 for their match. I think Golovin pulls it out. So instead of hedging, I'm going to put 1 more unit on Golovin to win wednesday(of the 2 I won on her today) at +775. If in fact she does win, and faces the other french girl in the semis, Maulesbo will probably be -1500 or something. I think its almost smarter just to let it go, eh? Even if it is 160-1. Any advice on either situation anders? Thanks

yeah, i think if the chalk is that short then u just have to let it ride, i may face the same situation with guys playing fed... it's why i usually play outrights post-draw...
riding the little french teenager like a pony... Sharapova NOT 2-0 +226 - 3 units, Sharapova to win 2-1 - +440 - 2 units, Golovin to win outright - +770 - 1 unit... let's bring it home (or at least go 3 sets)

Alas, the golovin-sharapova match turned out to be close, as expected... but not the 3 setter I was hoping for.
On the positive side - nads lost, so that makes roddick an even better hedge play - now if we could just get federer out of there.
