For him to miss a home event last week, he must have been hurt. I would go to his website and read his blog, but I dont speak Sweedish..
Miguel looked alright last week.. I haven't checked course form, just a hunch. Gotten lucky with hunches 3 out of the last 4 weeks. :SIB

Fred hasn't played great of late, can't imagine a long flight will help his back at all. He must be using this tourney as a vacation with the fam.

Both players were overlooked for the Captain's picks for the Ryder Cup, but even though Clarke had been a far stronger favourite to get the pick, I'd expect him to respond positively in his performance this week unlike Monty who has withdrawn. He did, after all, win the KLM Open and finished 6th in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational last month so is playing well enough to post the perfect response to his omission from the team
