This is alot of points to have to cover, even at home for Alabama
The way I am looking at it is that if Mercer can just score 10 points for the entire game, then this play wins.

The word is that Alabama aint going to go crazy in this game, they are going to work on fundamentals.
They are also hurting on defense with injurys etc.
But they realize that to maintain in the top 1 category they need impressive.
I feel good about it.
But its hardly a in the bag kinda play

bama gains nothing by running it up against mercer. next weekend is everything to their season. even saban knows when to stand down.

i had this play as well , i didnt think mercer would score at all but i didnt think alabama would put up more than 50 today after a tough game last saturday night and auburn on deck .. oh well thats gambling
