UCLA -10.5
Think UCLA has much more talent on both sides of the ball. NM has really struggled against teams from power conferences losing 34-14 to NC St. and 49-0 to Texas Tech. Saw the game against Texas Tech and New Mexico was just completely overmatched. Also lost 22-14 to Colorado St. in a game they trailed 19-0 before the Rams let them back into the game. Their wins were against Weber St., Baylor, Utah, San Diego St., and Wyoming at home, and their only road wins were against UNLV and BYU, two very poor teams. UCLA should be able to shut down their running game and I don't think NM has a chance if they try to pass. UCLA has a solid running game and some good skill players which should put up a few points. UCLA should have a big advantage on special teams as NMS only has 5 FGs on the year between 3 kickers. Should also see a lot of punts which could mean big returns or blocks as UCLA has a lot of athletes. Like UCLA to get an easy win. Kind of like the under 54 as I think NM will struggle to score over 10 and their defense is decent.

haven't been posting much ncaa football since hoops season started, but thought i would pop in here and lend support for your play. everything you read about this game is about bruins' coaching situation and how they could care less about this game. somehow that just does not fit with what i remember about the mindset of 20-21 yr old college athletes. given that the talent differential between these two programs is substantial, a better question would be whether this ucla team wants to be remembered as the one that laid down for the lobos. and don't forget that the bruins are in the hands of assistants who will be job hunting in a few days, some with ideas of remaining with ucla's new head coach. i think it would add a little resume' value to coax a bruin team to a big win when everyone expected them to lay down. maybe it's just me but i see a world of reasons for ucla to come out and play hard in this game, and if they do, it will be lights out for the lobos. most reliable power numbers i use say ucla by more than two tds so it looks like vegas already expects the masses to follow the "poor ucla" storyline. i think i'll buy with the discount.

Thanks for the support loophole. I really respect your opinions. I really think people are making too big of a deal about the coaching situation. I think anyone who plays sports plays because they want to not because of who their coach is. I think this is a great line especially when you consider NM was a 17 point dog at home against Texas Tech earlier in the year and they got smoked in that one. Good luck with your plays and have a good holiday.
