I was really pumped today when to my surprise And Justice For All came on XM radio. It's been a while but I forgot how fucking good that song is (and album as well). It made me pine for the days of 9 min + songs. The kids these days with this pop shit and 1 hit wonders have no idea what they are missing.

What a good fucking album :0074 :0074 :0074

really like some of the older stuff.
recently scored Death Metallic, and even the demo disc called Demo Metallic, or some shit like that.
supposedly a real change from their last 2 studio discs but can't say, yet, until audio proof becometh

can't tell if this true or a dream

My very first concert. Maybe 89?

Probably more like 1991. Pretty sure I was a senior in HS when this was released. A few months later, I caught Metallica and GnR with my entire posse.

Metallica blew GnR off the stage. They were awesome

That was the tour that James caught on fire in Montreal and Axel being the BITCH that he is refused to take the stage and there was riot.

Preoblem was GNR played 2nd. They were unable to compete the opening act.

Metallica blew the roof off the place. GnR was lame.

Some good tunes on this one but this CD marks the end of the good metallica days.. This is when they went mainstream and most die hard fans became pist off

Agreed. I remember being so excited when that album came out because it had been 3 years since ... And Justice was released. Then when I listened to it I was completely let down. I don't really like anything after ...And Justice.

I never know which one to call my "favorite." Ride the Lightning has "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "Creeping Death," but Master of Puppets has "Master of Puppets," "Leper Messiah," "Sanitarium," etc. Kill 'em All is great, too, but they were pretty raw back then.

They're the last band on earth I ever thought would sell out. :sadwave:
