The way I see it... it doesn't help them if they win or lose now, am I right??? OR do they still need to win to get a home game in WILD CARD??? I'm lost... CBS SPORTSLINE already seriously boned me by implying SF gained nothing by winning, when in actuality they could host the WILD CARD... want to be sure.

s.f only gained something if they won and gb lost. they will be heading to gb on wild card weekend now since the pack looks like they have won.

As far as i can tell miami does have insintive to win as they could host a playoff game. i think i got this scenario correct so here it is:

N.E. won so they won the divison, they need a raiders loss for a bye.
Raiders win they get a bye.
Dolphins win secures a home playoff game, loss sends them packing on the road

So to answer your ? you bet they have something to win for. now whether they can do it remains to be seen as they continue there usual early january vacation.

thanks... that's how I had it figured, but I thought they STILL host the WILD CARD even by losing.... not sure of that though.

nope they don't host if they loose they would be goin to either l.a. or n.e. doesn't matter there are on the road with a loss period.

Miami will control the ball as much as possible, the weather is very overcast and most likely will not rain,, but the under should be a good play.
