I will place my biggest wager of the year on the fins as they will absolutly shutdown this mickey mouse offence, and expose this over-rated d, for what they truely are a bunch of has beens who will no chance in hell in winning anaother game this year

Fins SUPER BIG

AS I AM WRITING THIS UP RETARD BELICK IS PASSING THE BALL RATHER THAN RUNNING TIME OFF THE CLOCK, WHILE THE VIKS HAVE NO TIME OUTS, WHAT A COMPLETE JOKE

i am in total agreement with you
If Minn had even Bouman as Qb for this game Seattle would be celebrating a playoff berth right now. Ravens offense is brutally bad and i feel that Miami corners will have a field day vs Elvis Crapback. Fins win biig
21-6

If they would have just tried to run clock out, That idiot Spoogeon might not have fumbled and Balt may not have gotten the backdoor cover. I'm so pissed.

The only thing I can see why he did not run the clock out is because he knew even with time on the clock that bump could not move the ball 5 feet. If he is in the NFL next year coaches should have their heads examined.

Wow! I just called Infinity and they have the lines on hold. I'm all over Miami at anything less than 4. If Balt had fits with Minn D, they will get rolled. Yup 24-9 Right on Gravy and Hellah10.

Not so fast my friends............

I know there is no logical reason to think Baltimore should win. All the indicators and stats point to a big Miami win. Grbac is coming off a horse**** season and game (what's new), Miami coming off a big blowout win over Buffalo and is playing at home.

So why in the world would anyone be on Baltimore??? Because that is the way it usually works in the NFL and more specifically in the playoffs.

We all know when it looks to good to be true......... I think this is one of those spots. It is almost like the classic set up, every thing in the world of handicapping points to Miami, that's why I'll be on Baltimore to cover and probably win S/U and move on.

Grbac will probably play out of his ass, over his head, how ever you want to say it and Baltimore will get a big win, the defending Super Bowl Champs, then the next week is the week to go against them as Grbac will be back to himself and Baltimore will bite the dust.

So not so fast my friends (thanks Lee Corso)

Baltimore +3.5 ;)

I would have to agree w/Ctownguy. All the TV people were ripping the Ravens, probably because they don't like to show defensive plays on their highlight shows. Everyone on TV seems in agreement that Balty will be one and done. But Miami shouldn't scare anyone. In 4 of their last 6 games, they haven't been able to rush for 70 yards and they've given up over 150 yds rushing in 3 of their last 4 games. The Buffalo score was very deceptive; It was 13-7 going into the 4th quarter and then a bad team just totally layed down. Somebody on one thread said Balt couldn't score on a good D; what about Miami? They were shut out by San Fran and the Jets (the Jets D isn't even that good) and only could put up 10 on St Louis. Arguably, the Fins have only 2 quality wins (Oakland and New England) since I don't consider Seattle to be a quality team. And NE revenged that earlier season game. Miami has only scored 24 or more pts 3 times this season when the opponent was not named Indy or Buffalo. Lamar Smith had 30 carries last week; remember last year when he had a lot of carries vs Indy in the playoffs? He was completely wasted the following week. I see the same happening here. Coaching? Billick will coach rings around Wanny.

ctown and valuist in most cases i would totally, definatly, 100% agree with both of you, BUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTT, THIS IS THE LOSER GRBAC WE ARE TALKING ABOUT, and the odds of him turning around his season (and career)in an away playoff game to a good defensive team like miami would be like 1 in a trillion

He has no touch on the ball, he has no pocket presence, he cannot get away from the rush, he has tunnel vision which allows him to through picks like a rookie

this is more of a play against GRBAC than for the fins, but I definatley think the fins D will create alot of turnovers and give fiedler a short field to play with and score enough points to beat this has-been, never should have been joke as a SB champ team

This defense is NOT the same as we saw last year. They have a below average secondary. They DO have a good rush D...but Miami has been winning games with or without the running game. Grbac sucks...we all know that...he aint gonna turn around his game on the road this sunday...no way, wont happen. That Miami D is BETTER then Baltimores...and there in Miami where they are 7-1. Baltimore goes home sunday....

At least Grbac didn't turn the ball over yesterday. I think they will keep it very basic for him. The one thing that concerns me about Baltimore is their punting game. A team like that absolutely has no margin for error with bad snaps, blocked punts, or just plain bad punts. I'm guessing Billick will make this a priority in practice this week. As for Miami, I think they really need Chambers and need him 100%.

I know where your coming from and I'm definitely not trying to change your mind as I have had feeling like yours in the past against certain players or teams and they are so strong that nothing else matters.

I just feel that this is a perfect spot to set up the unsuspecting public bettor.

So while I'll be going against you, if you do win I'll have the satisfaction of Grbac being humiliated, but I hope it goes my way and humiliate him the next week when everyone (the public) will expect them to win.

Just have to wait and see.

Miami -2' is begging for action on Miami. I was waiting for this line to come out to see which side of 3 it would be on. There is absolutely no reason that Miami should be favored by only 2'. Or is there?

Putting your money on Grbac in a big game is like porking a reaaaaaallly fat girl (250lbs or more) with the lights on and being forced to look at her.

Putting your money on Fiedler in a big game is like the agony of watching those squiggly green lines silhouette naked bodies you see on HBO or skinimax late at nite cuz you can't afford to subscribe to it. You are always holding your breath for that one good look and by some sick sort of fascination you stay on that channel...

I think that Salisbury made a great point last nite that this Ravens team is not good enough to hit that "switch" when they need to. They really miss Jamaal Lewis.

I will break this one down further. Almost looks like a good teaser opportunity though.

stop, stop, your'e both right

stop, stop, your'e both right

seriously, baltimore is not as good as last year in the d. dept. and yes they miss lewis, and yes elvis blows, and yes billick is full of himself. make it a small play boys..... it's the nfl and surely those jerkoffs in tagmeabloo land can determine the ooutcome to go against a public heavy on the fins. make it a light play either way.

That's funny, Raymond.

I have no problem betting on the Ravens, but there's no way that I'm gonna tell anybody about it, just like your analogy.

Ravens had two consecutive lousy performances on Monday Night in front of the world, so there is no way that I will bet against them. Miami would have lost last week had Van Pelt stayed in. Miami is just more susceptible to turnovers than the Ravens and that will be the area that wins this game.

Big win for Balt, but as I predicted in my post above, this was the week to be on them, next week will be the week to go against Balt.

Sorry Jack.:(

Also quick question for Jack, when to the number of posts change, it seems like I've been on 140 for a long time.

I'll be damed it just changed:D
