So spoiled as a Tarheel fan. Its all about getting all that talent to gel during the year and playing well in March. I agree with your comments about Roy (on other thread). Its frustrating but hard to complain about all that talent year after year.

I started watching around 1980. I think Al Wood was my first "favorite player" and though I was really young....I do remember Jordan before he was "Jordan"...lol
I miss the old 8-team conference. HATED FSU joining the league in both football and basketball and still can't stand the 12-team league...its about to get worse. I miss the old Big East as well.
As much talent as we get, with Dean it was more about assembling a team and playing good sound basketball. With Roy its a glorified pickup game. I'd love to see us get a couple pure shooters that maybe aren't super athletic.
The fast break is great but there is so much that could be done with all that talent over the years. Maybe its like trying to run the option and still recruit the best players...nah, not the same thing lol

I don't understand how NW was the favorite in this game and why I took them. IMO Maryland should have been giving 3 or so. Not like it would have mattered. Unreal.
