Did anyone else hear him on Dan Patrick yesterday talking about Tony Romo and the fact that one of his great great great great grandmothers had to have slept with a black man because how else would Tony have gotten so athletic.

Now I really could care less what Michael says because I think he's an idiot but if the shoe was on the other foot and a white guy said that Tony Dungees great "" "" "" grandmother had to sleep with white man because how else would he have gotten so smart, well we all know what kind of chit would hit the fan. (ps I don't think that about Dungee and I'm just using that as an example so don't get up in arms about that). I just don't think the double standard is fair.

Give Irvin a break

Give Irvin a break

Michael Irvin is one of the best receivers to have ever played in the NFL. He likes to talk trash. You guys shouldn't be so hard on him. I think he has a great personality and really like him as an announcer. He puts those other numskulls in line like Collinsworth, Marino, and Carter. They have gotten dull this past year - I'm beginning to think Costas is the foundation of that show "Inside the NFL". Irvin would be a great addition to "Inside the NFL". As an added bonus, you have the fact that he once was a Dallas Cowboy:D:D:D

Kneifl,
I live in Texas and I know fro (get it) a fact that Michael Irvin is a despicable human being not capable of cognitive thought and is probably the WORST announcer ever and wasn't even that great of a receiver. You have really been hitting the Kool-aid bro, haven't ya. Wow. Anyway, good luck with your boys. You'll need it.

If a white guy said what he said, he'd be fired on the spot. It was a ridiculous comment. ...And how does Irvin still have a job anyway? He's awful.

I was anxious to see the replies I would get after my last post:142smilie :142smilie

Anyway, I agree he is a little obnoxious, but I like him - probably most of all because he once was a Cowboy. What a great WR he was in his day.

Few good ones..

1. What do you call a drug ring in Dallas?........A huddle.
2. Four Dallas Cowboys in a car, who's driving?......The police.
3. Why can't Michael Irvin get into a huddle on the field anymore? It is a parole violation for him to associate with known felons.
4. I understand Chicago is trying to sign Michael Irvin. They got rid of the refrigerator, so now they want a Coke machine.
5. The Dallas newspapers reported yesterday that Texas Stadium is going to take out the artificial turf because the cowboys play better on "grass."
6. The Dallas Cowboys adopted a new "Honor System", Yes your Honor, No your Honor.
7. The Cowboys had a 12 and 5 season this year, 12 arrests, 5 convictions.
8. The Cowboys knew they had to do something for their defense, so they hired a new defensive coordinator: Johnny Cochran RIP
9. How do the Dallas Cowboys spend their first week at spring training? Studying their Miranda Rights.
