I was just thinking, this Gustav is proof that there is a God in heaven,? Moore said, laughing. :scared :nono:  :bigun:

These two idiots having a field day at the entire gulf coast's expense. I guarantee you that if gustav or some other natural disaster was heading for their homes you wouldn't hear the same rhetoric. This just shows you what some morons will do to score a political point. Any anchor with honor would have immediately jumped on this piece of garbage. But Angryman just went along with it.

Disgusting.

Wow second post in two days same subject. No one disagreed before. Just a few more beauties were added. Our friend Hannity worst case. Rush and O'rilley there all worth less. Oberman gets a 1/2 point to good because he understands sport.
What were more about here. But ship all 5 to France.

Freeze, I see you lump Olbermann in with Moore on this one, as if he said it or played it up as anything at all. He did point out the following:

"Olbermann, whose opinions tend to fall on the same far left end of the ideological spectrum as Moore, said it was even weirder than Moore observed. Olbermann said ?one of? Focus on the Family preachers connected to Chairman Dr. James Dobson?s was allegedly calling for everyone to pray for rain during Sen. Barack Obama?s Democratic convention speech."

Olbermann said nothing about Moore's comments, looked a little uncomfortable about them to me, actually, and only referred to the elements, etc.

Moore is an idiot for his comments, no doubt - not the first time and won't be the last. It is ironic though, I would agree with that to a point.

Make no mistake, these people are idiots, and the commentary is sad. Just don't see the Olbermann linkage to any degree, other than giving Moore another venue to say something stupid.

In addition to hurricanes, Michael Moore needs to take a good look at all this complexity, diversity, color, balance, macro and microcosm, dna, etc. then get on his knees and ask God, the creator of all things in heaven and earth and throughout the universe, to have mercy on his soul.

There is a mastermind behind all of this.

Blessed be the name of Jesus.

So we find some Reb Preecher prayed to God to put a curse on Dem while in Denver. Boy the Loard's pay back is a tough one. They should take that Preecher out behind the wood shed and he should never be seen again.

Not sure how "praying for rain" on a convention/parade is exactly the equivalent of a devastating and deadly, life-ending and life-altering hurricane

Moore, Rev Sharpton, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh. Why do we feature these buffoons? Because they say nonsensical and outrageous things that draw ratings to fox and MSNBC. It's a shame because the fringes of both parties make them both look like fools but actually dominate the conventions, platforms etc.

It's not the equivalent. It's simply all Olbermann brought up on the subject, and was my point in retort to your headline which linked it all together.

Without defending what Moore said (poor attempt at humor), we all know had Gustav arrived a week earlier, Limbaugh, Hannity, Ingram and the rest would've made a lame attempt to connect it's arrival with proof that God is a Republican. It's a long campaign with 24 hour news cycles to fill and there's no shortage of talking heads making stupid remarks on both sides. Big deal.

Have we become a nation of wimps with no room for humor (even bad attempts) any more? I laughed when John McCain sang his "Bomb Iran" song and when he volunteered to enter Cindy in the "Miss Buffalo Chip" contest. And what was funnier than Ronald Reagan saying "My fellow Americans, I am pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation which outlaws Russia forever. The bombing begins in five minutes."?
