Getting back at it with a homer play. I really like Michigan today. Illinois is a dumpster fire on defense. The Illini have the second-worst defensive efficiency in the Big Ten. Teams are killing them from the outside, making 39% of their threes on a high volume of attempts and Michigan likes to bomb it from 3. The Illini have also allowed opponents to make 51% of their two's. No inside help. Michigan struggles when they cannot operate off the dribble. Illinois defense will allow Michigan to operate off the dribble and open up the outside. If Michigan heats up from the outside they could blow the doors of the Illini. Even if they struggle with the 3 they should still have enough to cover the number.
