Michigan rush offense vs. Michigan State rush defense
Carlos Brown and Brandon Minor, thanks. But now it's time to step aside. Michigan coach Lloyd Carr wisely rested star running back Mike Hart over the past few weeks, and all indications are that the Heisman Trophy candidate is ready to go this weekend.
That's great news for Michigan, considering Hart has topped the 100-yard mark in every game he's played in this season. And if he does go down, Brown and Minor have the confidence to step in and perform like they did the past few games.
He's listed as probable but this is college football and they can get away with screwing the INJ report.
Saying you think he's out is one thing, but saying "CONFIRMED" is another. I'll believe it when I see it myself. Personally would rather have no information than incorrect information.
We?ll have to see how that goes tomorrow,? he said. ?The guys that were hurt are better than they were when they got hurt so we?ll see how that goes.?
He added that their backups ? quarterback Ryan Mallett and tailbacks Carlos Brown and Brandon Minor ? are ?ready to go.?
That last bit is from the morning show today. He's not giving up any information either way and it wouldnt be a shocker if both guys did/didnt play.
After meeting Lloyd Carr two years ago during the offseason, he's the type who would lie to your face if he did know Hart/Henne's status. Total asshole.
