here in Iowa, we got 7 inches last night and are supposed to get 5-7 more before its all over with. Not snowing now, but the radar shows more is on the way.

Is it Spring yet?

It keeps missing us up here in the Twin Cities area. This has been more common than not over the past few years - a lot of the resorts who depend on snowmobiling, ice fishing, etc., are having a really tough time of it.

Having grown up in Missouri, I don't mind the lack of heavy snow at all...good luck you guys.

Glad all is well, and send some over this way. We don't get anything anymore here in Western PA.

On the course!
This is some of the worst shit I've ever driven in. Near white out conditions all the way home (30 miles) from work.

I'm in for the night!

My wife works about 35 miles from here and it took her 1.5 hours to get home. She followed a snowplow for a while--until it got stuck...:scared

It is the worst driving conditions I can recall, that for should..

This is just plain silly here. I think I am in the nastiest part of it - kenosha/racine area.

I think bubbas needs to send his future marine son over to my place to shovel my driveway as part of his boot camp preparation training program.

reds - the early evening news stated the storm was delayed hitting Chicago because it "got stuck" in Iowa. What were you guys doing with it over there?

Hell I cant even get him to shovel out my drive. The wife and I have been up north this last week snowmobiling. Came home today and ran into this hell of a storm. No problems though....snowblowed out the drive and then hit the roads with the sleds. Straight down the middle of the roads..bar to bar. Fastest way to bar hop tonight.:toast:

Seems as if the storm had a tough time crossing the Mississippi, Mr Poon. On the Iowa side, we got 12 inches total. Head South East 20 or so miles, they got 6, some areas in the TV viewing area even less than that.

Is it there yet and how much are they calling for?

Heard Wisconsin got hit the worst getting up to 18 inches in parts. Some places in Iowa got up to 15 inches. Kansas City got 4 to 5 inches, but some parts of Northern Missouri got pounded with ice before getting 10 inches of snow.

reds - basically didn't have as much as they predicted. Pretty quiet here now. It was sleeting/snow pretty much alll afternoon into the evening, but the accumulations weren't much (<6 inches).

ah yes, I miss those times! beer and snowmobiles!
I haven't even gotten any ice fishing in yet this year either! Used to drill a few holes on Wind Lake and catch some panfish for dinner.

I spent last night cooped up at the poker room making $$$$. I'm thinking about running down the street and picking up a new snowmobile tomorrow so I can go cruise around.

did that little squirt of yours ever get signed up?
