Wow, Im looking like a fool for my comments on how I thought Arce would handle the Armenian.
He got pummeled the other night, I was shocked.
However, I do feel that him moving up in weight was not a good idea. I thought Mijares was too big for him and extremely skilled. Mijares is the real deal.

I dont think Vic is as skilled as Mijares and I still think Arce after this loss, still might take him. But obviously Im not as confident as I was before.

OK, I see Mighty Mike is +115 at 5dimes against this holt guy. I've never seen Holt fight but I was checking him out on boxrec and see that he has 1 loss and hasnt really fought anybody.

I think Mighty Mike is a good fighter. Shouldnt Mighty Mike be the play here?

And Spinch, I truly value your expertise.

Look at the picture at boxingnews. Mike has his fist poised to crack Holt in the jaw, as Holt is being very accomidating by holding it out to be hit. Is this an omen? Yea, I get caught up in silly crap sometimes, but it has been said if we look, there are signs everywhere.

the gleasy gleek boy is +123.....

i think holt is a good fighter....but i`m not 100% sure that about that impressive win over hlatshwayo...

hlatschwayo was a real lightweight...a one dimensional lightweight without a ton of power....

he was too strong for a nate campbell at lightweight....but,too small for holt at lt. welter...a holt who could easily fight at welter...

holt`s chin is a little scary...and gleek boy has more power than his record might indicate....

holt may be to quick...but,i have a soft spot for scatah boy...

what i may do is play a parlay with two live dogs.....

maybe,arnaoutis/arlovski in mma....

these "frank s." gems appear to be buzzing those lines.....:D

very nice......

this is a toss-up...as is the co-feature with the big white boys....good competitive fights....

holt has looked very sharp recently...but i believe that this will be his toughest fight.....david diaz doesn`t thrill me....

a really good shobox card....

i,honestly, couldn`t bet much on arnaoutis/holt because i really think it`s a tough call...

but,as a parlay with another underdog, who has ,imo,an even money chance to win,it`s a fun wager that can`t hurt to bad...throw in bisping as a 5-1 fave who i think wins in front of the homies, and,it`s worth a throw-away getting almost 4-1....

this is supposed to be fun... i think...

well,i didn`t see arnaoutis` fight with torres.....apparently he had a problem with lack of aggression in that one,too......i`ll give him credit for talking a good game before the fight,though....he was a ball of fire before the bell rang...

in this fight i think he was scared to death of holt`s speed...and rightly so...thankfully,he fought a survival fight which is probably the only reason it got over the 10.5....why he pulled the same thing vs torres,i have no idea....torres didn`t have blazing speed vs cotto....

i had the gleek winning the 8th round...and that was all....

i`m surprised that this was (obviously) 2 guys at totally different levels...i think arnaoutis could turn into sort of a gatekeeper.... a trial horse kind of guy down the road...no jab...no right hook...i don`t know what he expected..did he expect to stand outside vs a guy with a better jab and quicker hand and foot speed?...and his corner was......clueless...

all those 1st round knockouts are apparently very misleading...

holt didn`t really do much..arnaoutis basically handed him the fight without firing a shot in anger...

very weird...

i`ve seen him give better efforts......granted vs lesser competition...the announcers were right....clueless and one dimensional....

btw...that heavyweight fight was an embarrassment to boxing,heavyweights...and white people everywhere....

i`ve never seen 2 guys with supposed solid amateur backgrounds look so pathetic....

not 1 iota of skill..or reflex....snapless punches......not even rudimentary boxing moves.......a really BAD toughman fight...

i was hoping maybe a maddalone/minto type thing....what we we got was???(truthfully,i don`t know wtf that was).....
