I am not understanding the line on this one. Miss St getting +7? Miss St is ranked 24th, with a 14-1 record. They are 7-0 on the road although they have been non-conference games. Their only loss was to Cincinnati. They Beat Kentucky last Saturday.

Arkansas is 9-4. they have played 2 ranked teams and lost both.

Looking at the matchup between the two, I see Miss St having their way on the boards.

Am I missing something here?

Any help would be appreciated.

I like Arkansas here for a few reasons:

Ark's guards should be able to attack Miss State's

Ark's strong homecourt, and coming home with confidence off of some nice wins

Miss State primed for a letdown, what I describe as "Rush the Floor" letdown -- if you win and your fans rush the floor, look out next game!

Miss State has been a slow starter this year, from the times I have bet on them or against them -- if that happens here, Ark and their crowd will never let them back in

Good luck with whatever you do, but I am on Ark tonight.

A fewother reasons I like Ark, for what it's worth:

The 2 ranked losses - ILL and OK ST - were both games where Ark coughed up leads late. That won't happen at home. I also view those 2 teams as far superior to Miss St.

Strength of schedule: Ark 11, vs Miss St's 69.

Miss State lookahead to in-state game Saturday at Mississippi -- possibly.

The only thing that i can tell you about this is that the bookies must know something, but if you find some inside stuff on this game let me know!

Someone posted in one of the threds about ranked teams on the road and the home team being a FAV. I know JT Sneaks and I have talked about this before and I don't have the numbers to back it (he has better stat sheets) but I remember it hits at 60% or more rate area.
My Money is on Arkansas -6 to -7.
