That pass on 1st down might literally be the worst play-call I've ever seen in my life. The game was completely over if he runs it 3 times. Incredible. I am beside myself.

Awful teams, awful refs.....I had UNLV +8 and will take the push.
Last couple plays. Guy gets 1st down and they spot it short. But UNLV seems to have no idea clock is still running. Then guy gets knocked out of bounds and they run the clock.
And yeah, dumbass Leach could have downed the ball 3 times and then prob just down it again on 4th.....there were 56 seconds left and UNLV had 2 timeouts. And he throws it long on 1st down. My God that is absolutely unforgivable for a college coach to do that.

Ageecee, yeah, the 3rd down call too. At that point, just run it and PUNT. He went for it on 4th down. If the refs don't mess it up on the last drive.....they might have put it in OT.

I think he actually thought the clock would keep running if he ran it on 4th down... Saw he ran over to the ref and point at something at the end. I hope I'm wrong, for his sake, but I have no other explanation for that call.
