Another week went by without a college football game, but the clients of Millennium Sports feasted this weekend, as the NFL was in action on both Saturday and Sunday. The Sportsbook even got considerable action on the Division II Football Championship game played on Friday night. The sharp players had their sights set on some interesting games on Sunday, with one of them being Seattle at Tennessee. The sharps loved the Titans, looking for +7? with our half point promotion on Friday, and buying the Titans on Sunday at +7 by another sharp group. The teaser players were all over Seattle on Sunday. On Saturday the wise action came on San Diego driving the line down to 7 and also on Pittsburgh driving the line up from 3 ? to 4 1/2 . The teaser players still thought that the Colts were a cinch to win outright at home for their 14th consecutive victory, and watched their teasers go down the drain as the Bolts came back to win the game late.

I remember years ago working under the tutelage of Monty at CRIS when no bookmaker ever moved the line because of their teaser exposure. Well, I believe times have changed, and because the teaser play is now a tool of the sharp bettor as well, the lines are inflated to discourage bettors from betting down favorites in teaser combinations.

Do you really think that Jacksonville should have been favored by 16 points over the 49ers without their starting QB, Left witch? Or for that matter, that the Broncos should have been favored by 15 points over Baltimore? How about the division rivalry between the Giants and the Eagles where Big Blue was a nine point favorite on the road? I really believe that many bookmakers are setting their numbers to be in a better position against the teaser action, leaving the door wide open for the sharp straight players to get great numbers on the underdog. Years ago teaser players were looked upon as ?Sucker Players??not so anymore. If you think about it, why would you lay ten cents on straight action when you can lay even money on a two-team 6-point teaser at Millennium Sports ? Who?s the sucker now?

Those that were holding the prop bet on whether the Colts would go undefeated this season got their answer this past Sunday, as the Colts fell to a desperate Bolt team. Many of our clients believed that they would go undefeated, which dropped the line from +170 to +140. One good prop that I could guarantee as a winner is that Millennium Sports will be in business for decades to come, and if you?re not a member, than there?s no better time than now to do so. The college Bowl season is upon us, followed by the NFL playoffs, Super Bowl, and of course March Madness.

The management of Millennium Sports wants to extend our best wishes for all of our clients for the upcoming holiday season, and have a happy and safe New Year as well.
