I really don?t know if the Public is getting Wiser or the sharps are super cold, the fact is that this year the syndicates are not doing so well.
On Saturday we were hit on a lot of games, like Toledo from -30 up to -32, Nebraska from -1 up to -2?, Michigan St from -11? up to -13?They did win some of them, like Penn St from -17 up to 18?, Army +8? winning outright?.but most of them didn?t win.
The biggest game on Saturday was the 5 Star Game of the month from Phil Steele, he released North Carolina PK and the line went to -2 and then opposition made the line to go down to PK again?well, Phil was right this time.
Last Sunday was the worst one for us in terms of Teasers, those late comebacks by Minnesotta, Seattle, Giants, Philadelphia and the big winnings from Colts and Redskins made the Teasers a nightmare for us. In terms of straight wagers, we got hit by the wiseguys on Chicago and Cincinnati around Midnight Eastern time on Saturday and those lines went from Pk up to -2 and -2? for a short period of time. For some reason, everybody played the Total on Tennessee Over, and I mean everybody because we got hit by the public all week long on 44 and 44?, but then the Sharps made the move and the line went up to 45 and 45?, the game was not even close to the over. Also big money came on the Giants yesterday, we took our biggest straight wager on this game yesterday at -2? and the line closed on most sportsbooks at -3 ev or -2? -120, you can imagine how we sweat the last field goal by Elam to put Denver 23 - 10
I would like to promote that we are going to offer Pre Season lines on NBA this week, games will be circled to $500 and Straight wagers only, remember that with Millennium
