I have watched way to much NBA-Ball the last few week's,and game after game these guy's can't hit a simple free throw. I have an 8 year old son who hit's a higher percentage than these guy's.............................................................AND THAT'S ON THE GOAL'S AT THE STATE FAIR!!!

id be interested in seeing some free throw "splits" or yealry percentages from the 80's to the present.

by and large (and i know this sounds like blasphemy, since we all seem to rip the nba) i dont think free throw shooting is all that bad in the nba. in fact, i think its pretty good. a lot of post guys actually shoot a solid percentage.

to me, FT% is brutal in college. obviously, theres guys who move on to the pros who cant shoot a FT, but for the most part- the lame shooters seem to get "weeded out" and nba free throw shooting seems to be pretty solid.

its college free throw shooting that is a total embarrassment.

I hear what your saying G,but dang man,it seem's as though a big percentage of the game's the last few week's have been decided(or not)at the line......................like in the game tonight, when Philly was making a big run, they cut the lead to 4 and Coleman misses 2 and Iverson goes 1 for 3,it won't show as a big difference now because Detroit has streched it back out. Those 2 overtime game's we had were also brutal,Pierce blew the game for the Net's,and Divac blew Game 4 for the King's,there have been other's but those stand out the most.
