we get the last laugh after Toronto shuts this shit down. America cant stand the idea of Toronto in the Finals lmao. The entire city is buzzing over this one.
This seems pretty silly. I have heard a lot of talk shows about the NBA and the finals. No one has even mentioned a hint of a problem with Toronto being in the finals. As a matter of fact, most callers welcome a new team getting to the final series between the Bucks and the Raps. I think for the most part Americans appreciate all Canadian teams from hockey, baseball and basketball. There might be a small faction of animosity here and there, but Americans for the most part appreciate that Canadian teams are a big part of the professional leagues.
I should rephrase it and say I dont think the league wants Toronto in the Final. I heard the ratings for this East Final are very very poor. Nonetheless, I dont even care I just want the win today. Toronto is ready to blast off!
That could be more accurate. But I think the ratings will be just as high if it's either the Bucks or the Raps. Kawhi and Giannas are must see TV. I think maybe Kawhi even more so because he's proving to be Jordanesque. But I'm thinking the league may have quietly wished for the Warriors against the Celtics. East Vs West. Celtics are a big draw. But I think the finals wills be electric no matter what with all the intriguing storylines going on. The Toronto fans are incredible and the Raps swept the Warriors this year. So it should be a great finals. Can't wait....
