Just home from the Brewers White Sox game. A fast round trip of 400 miles with the game for frosting. My Brewers went down again. But main reason I went was to see the new stadium. Marvelous, Rain when we arrived so roof was closed. Then just as game was about to start they opened it up. Unbelievable to watch. The game well so/so but there were 7 HR. So plenty of action. These new parks are something. Your so close to the field you feal like your on top of the plays. Anyway something special to see if you get the chance.

djv,

I grew up in Milwaukee and I went to my first game at Miller Park a couple of weeks ago and I am kind of ambivalent towards the stadium. It was a nice place and I definitely felt closer to the game sitting in the first deck. The thing I don't like is that most of the seats are so high up. I mean the place seats only 43,000 but it is tons bigger than Dodger Stadium which seats 53,000. Also, I am kind of a traditionalist so I like open bleachers. The roof and that track in back of the bleachers kind of kills that. I went for a day game and it just did not feel like an outdoor stadium because there was no sun coming onto most of the seats because of the roof.

All that having been said, it was a great step up from Country Stadium (TM, Dan Patrick and Bob & Brian). But of the parks I have seen, I would place it behind Wrigley, Anaheim, Dodger, and the Murph. I would only place it ahead of Joe Robbie.
