As a father and son were driving home from a fishing trip, their car skidded on the wet roads, crashing into the guardrail.
When the paramedics arrived, they immediatly pronounced the father dead. The son, however, was still alive and was rushed to the nearest hospital.
As the boy was rushed into surgery, the doctor noticed the boy and said...
"I can't operate on this boy,...he's my son"

A different tangent on this.A young man goes into emergency room after being in accident by himself. Male doctor looks at boy and says I can't operate on him.When asked why he makes this statement.
"Brothers and sisters I have none
but this mans father is my fathers son"

What relation was he to the patient?
