I know against the Spurs it is tough to mention, but look at the past. They are a covering machine. Just passing on info and hope I don't jinx them tonight.

Well, a little late for this game. Minnesota is the best 1st quarter team in the league, but guess who is second!!

I expect the Spurs to come out fast after the loss to the Grizzlies. I don't really bet quarters anymore (used to take the Suns all the time when Nash played for them), but if I did this game is probably not a great spot for either team, but I would lean towards the Spurs here.

That was close, but held true. Nice thinking!

For the future, San Antonio is the best in the league at home in first quarter margins (+6.2)

Had no idea of the stats you speak of, but you must get them somewhere??? Glad it held up tonight? I have ridden this money train for awhile. What are the other top first quarter teams? Home and away? I think New Orleans up there? And Toronto? And Phoenix?
