It seems like everyone is on this play which makes me a little worried. I hope it's not another Southern Illinois or Louisiana Tech.

There's no question that MSU has the better team, the Bulldogs are outshooting Richmond 51% to 34% and are out-rebounding their opponents by ten while the Spiders have been getting out-rebounded by nine. MSU point guard Zimmerman is shooting 57% from the field with 72 assists vs only 37 turnovers.

What worries me here is the look-ahead. The Bulldogs are in the middle of playing five games in eight days and have to face #25 Cincinnati tomorrow night with another game on Saturday.

And while MSU may be the better team, they only beat Richmond by 14 earlier this year in a revenge match (Richmond had beaten MSU the year before in Mississippi). In that game MSU was down -4 at the half and needed a 15-2 run to take control of the game.

Any thoughts?

Just read some unconfirmed news.
The Center for Richmond will not play tonight. Does anyone have any info on this?

Richmond's 6-9 C Eric Zwayer (10.8ppg, 4.5rpg) didn't play in the Spider's game earlier this week vs Cincy. So his absence is already figured into the line.

FWIW, Dobbins and Ungerer are Richmond's leading rebounders, Zwayer is #3.

for what its worth, miss st has won all their games(10-0) by at least 8 points, with 5 blowouts. richmond has lost their last 4 by an average of 19 points...that being said, it kinda looks too easy...

Glad I bought the other side on this play.

Cost me $100 in juice but saved me $1000.
