can somebody explain to me why the spread is so low? I see missouri blowing nevada by at least 2 tds. Please somebody tell me what Im missing here. I plan to bet the farm on this one.

Nevada is in their first home game and they are typically a much better home team. They are 0-2 at home, have a veteran QB, wacky offense and with a college football hall of fame coach. I haven't looked at it yet but those are some factors that could play into it. Plus they are getting Nebraska next week so a bit of a look ahead.

I was big on Nevada heading into the season, but they have laid down twice. Maybe you can excuse the ND loss, but Col. State isn't a good team and that loss is a bad one. Early on I thought this would be a big loss for Mizzou, but now I'm not so sure. I still think Nevada is capable of the upset, they just haven't shown it on the field yet this year.
Also Mizzou likely isn't looking too far ahead to Nebraska as they do have a week off before that game.

I like Missouri first glance. Nevada is a soft football team and Missouri is physical. Line is going down so maybe 6.5 or 6 by kickoff.
My initial lean is Nevada....not even close to a play yet if at all. Mizzou hasn't really played anybody, but Illinois who are nothing to ride home about. Everyone was HIGH on Nevada in Week 1 vs ND, but they got smoked and then Vegas put them as fav's last week at Col St and lost again....now dogs at home! This team has talent and can be dangerous offensively. I'm sure being home will be a HUGE motivator for them to get back on track. But, then again they could continue to play like crap and get beat by 2 TD's.

if the spread drops below 7 im taking it. Yesterday it was at 7.5 and today its at 7. I dont see how Nevada can go against a high offensive team like Missouri.
I also like Idaho +16.5. I've been riding that gravy train the last 2 weeks and will continue to do it until it stops.

Nevada's results against the BCS conferences are pretty horrible, but I do think that the team is talented.
